Anti-Racism Leadership Institute

Dr. Tracey A. Benson and his team of equity practitioners (Tracey A. Benson Consulting) facilitate the Anti-Racism Leadership Institute and associated summer intensives.

The ALI provides you with a toolset that can help eradicate racial gaps in student outcomes by eliminating racial bias in the education delivery process. Through professional development and one-on-one coaching we empower you to be the catalyst for building-level change.

The ALI is for anyone who works or volunteers in an educational setting or for an organization with a youth development or educational mission. Past participants have included teachers, superintendents, curriculum instructors, directions, human resource professionals, diversity officers, and executive directors.

The ALI takes anti-racism training a step further. We not only build your knowledge base and awareness, we also coach you to implement the changes in your practice. It’s one thing to know what to do, it is another thing to actually do it.

95% of our participants have their employers cover this program. Each school and district sets aside funds for professional development. These monies can only be used for professional development and must be used by the end of the school year. Your participation in this program is not just professional development, it is an investment in you as a leader, and a show of commitment to more equitable outcomes for students.

We do not offer discounts for the ALI at this time. However, we are happy to work with grant-making bodies to offer our services to their grantees.

We want you to participate! Fill out this form and let us know the ideal week and times. If enough parties are interested in similar dates and times, we will add the intensive to the calendar and let you know!

If you are embarking on this journey with several colleagues, it can certainly help move your organizational work forward if you are all enrolled in the same cohort (does not have to be, but is helpful). If you have 8 or more colleagues who will be participating, let’s discuss scheduling an institute just for your organization. If you are 7 participants or less, reach out confirming that you all would like to be in the same cohort. Reach out to us via our contact form.

Participants are not officially enrolled in the ALI Summer Institute 2023 until: Payment has been received in full by April 17, 2023 Availability for their preferred institute (days/time) is confirmed Their ticket has been emailed to them Participants will be enrolled in the order in which payment is received. The sooner payment is received, the more likely a participant will be enrolled in their institute of preference. Tracey A. Benson Consulting reserves the right to deny enrollment. Enrollment for the institute is not transferable.

When you submit the ALI Summer Institute 2023 Reservation Form, an invoice will automatically be sent to you. Payment must be received by April 24, 2023 unless other arrangements have been confirmed by Tracey A. Benson Consulting in writing. Payment can be paid via Bank Transfers or check. Checks can be sent to the address on the invoice. If you need information on your invoice changed, please contact us at office@traceyabenson.com.

If a participant is not able to be enrolled in one of their three preferred summer institutes or an alternate summer institute that they approve of, they will be eligible for a full refund or given a credit to participate in a future institute (if available)- whichever the participant prefers. All other fees are non-refundable.
